Types of Ballet Programs
Presentation improvements
Our Ballet program for figure skaters is specifically designed to improve dance presentation on ice and increase the competitive level of athletes, who are judged on presentation performance, aside from the technical elements of their programs. We can help figure skaters with their transition of elements, performance execution and expression, the styling of arms and musicality in order to build a higher score of presentation.
Transition of elements
The transition between elements of the program is a very important part of the total score of presentation. We provide dance styling and arm movements along with body and head coordination to increase points result and enhance the presentation score altogether.
Off ice dance program
We offer a variety of barre warm-ups, based on the Vaganova ballet style of coaching, using different types of music themes such as classical, contemporary and character to tone different muscles, that are extremely needed in execution of figure skating elements and syllables.
Arm styling and program finishing
Our dance studio can offer dance classes on a variety of dance styles that are commonly used by choreographers when creating the programs on ice. Whether it is a short program or free program styling, we can work individually with the skater, improving his full-body coordination, enhance arm execution and personalize the moves with the dance and music style that is created on ice.
Musicality
Musicality in every program is a major factor when collecting scores for presentation. At our dance studio, we can help select music for a short program or a free program that can suit the personality of every skater.
